Description

This fabulous 1961 Mercedes Benz 190 SL is a true European classic with amazing character. The Mercedes Benz 190 SL is a two-door luxury convertible produced by Mercedes Benz between May 1955 and February 1963. A total of only 25,881 were built during the entire production run. It was first shown in a prototype at the 1954 New York Auto Show where it stole the hearts of many.

This car has been professionally restored to show quality standards throughout. It retains all the original sheet metal. Only part sheet metal work was required during the restoration. The body is very straight and it has great gap lines throughout. During the restoration, the Mercedes recieved its black color as in the Mercedes Benz datacard which is simply gorgeous.

The paint is high quality throughout and has been detailed to a brilliant shine. The car sports a new beige convertible top which looks amazing in combination with the Mercedes black paint. Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced such as the glass, trim, wipers, mirrors, door handles, bumpers, moldings, emblems and lights.
This Mercedes 190SL received the highest possible rating (Grade 1 - Concours Restoration) by a German expert.
