The Mercedes-Benz 190SL is a 2-door Grand Touring convertible with (optional) removable hardtop, produced by Mercedes-Benz between May 1955 and February 1963. A prototype was first shown at the 1954 New York Auto Show. The Mercedes-Benz 190SL was sold in addition to the faster, more expensive Mercedes-Benz 300SL. Both types were very similar in terms of styling, technique and detailing.

The Mercedes-Benz 190SL was powered by a new 1.9L straight-4 SOHC engine (105 hp), which was also used later in the W120 180 and W121 190 models. The 4-cylinder engine block of the 190SL was based on the 6-cylinder engine of the 300SL. The 85 mm bore was transferred unchanged, although the stroke for the 190SL was reduced from 88.0 mm to 83.6 mm. The car was available as a convertible with soft-top or with a detachable hardtop.

This Mercedes is still in a very neat condition. The car starts immediately, shifts through all gears and brakes properly. The interior still looks very fresh, it is an older restoration, the car was fully technically and optically addressed. The soft top has recently been replaced and the hardtop is still in a very neat condition.
