This fantastically wonderful 1958 Mercedes Benz 190SL has been subject to a recent ‘Body-Off/Bare-Metal’ restoration and full mechanical rebuild. It is now in concourse condition. Since the restoration it has only clocked up a further 1,238 km. The bodywork is as good as new with its straight and excellently fitting body panels. The many chrome parts as well as every other detail of this spectacularly gorgeous 190SL are as good as new. The underbody again is in such a great pristine condition, that you would be forgiven in thinking it had just come out of the factory. Every original detail, be it the spot welding, the Solex carburetors the Kienzle dashboard clock or the period Becker Mexico radio, is still there in this top example. The restoration has been extensively recorded with many photos and invoices. This 190SL has retained its original, matching numbers, engine. It has been finished in metallic silver with a red leather interior trim. The last owner kept the car for nearly 25 years. This, without a shadow of a doubt, truly top-class example is now ready for you to enjoy!
