Description

Renowned as the ultimate four-seater luxury coupe of its era and well beyond, the W126 560 SEC topped the Mercedes-Benz line from 1985 through 1991. Denoting “5.6 litres, Sonderklasse Enspritzmotor Coupé” (fuel-injected superior-class coupe), the 560 SEC delivers an incomparable all-around experience. Built in May 1987, this 560 SEC was purchased new on August 1, 1987, by its first and only private owner through Pepé Mercedes- Benz of White Plains, New York. Over the next three decades, the 560 SEC resided in Harrison, New York, and was used sparingly. Offered with just over 23,000 miles, the consignor reports this uncommonly original vehicle retains its original paint finish, leather upholstery, etched glass, factory decals, emblems, and VIN stickers.

The engine compartment and trunk house the correct spare wheel/tire assembly, tool roll, and roadside jack, and the underside retains the original exhaust system, Cosmoline, paint markings, zinc coatings, and factory components. Other highlights include the original Becker Grand Prix radio and factory first aid kit. Offering a refined driving experience commensurate with its low mileage and beautifully preserved condition, this 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC benefits from recent service and detailing work; and includes the factory-issued books, manuals and data plate inside a vinyl folio; plus a touch-up paint set, and CARFAX and AutoCheck Vehicle History Reports.
