- Original Becker radio & speakers
- Richly documented
- 1 of 102 produced
- 22,867 original miles

The Mercedes-Benz Ponton models originated from the previous brand 'Daimler-Benz'. This brand, also known as the present-day 'Mercedes-Benz Group AG', or as its former aliases such as 'Daimler-Benz, DaimlerChrysler or Daimler', was well known for its luxury cars. The Ponton models are a series of Daimler-Benz luxury cars produced after World War II. Production of this model, the 220SE, ran from 1958 to 1960. This model belonged to the chassis code 'W128'. These came with a 6-cylinder in sedan, convertible or coupé form (of which the fewest were produced). The E in 220SE stands for 'Einspritzer', meaning fuel injection in German.

This in-line six injection engine has a displacement of 2.2 litres. The engine produces 116 hp. It is paired with a four-speed manual transmission with steering gearshift, making this 1 of 102. The engine runs and functions very nicely. Also, this Mercedes-Benz is equipped with independent suspension which provides more comfort while driving. The original steel rims come with beautiful Mercedes-Benz hubcaps that complete the look.

Mercedes was known for its luxury versions. This 'Sindelfingen Werks' 220SE is no exception. The beautiful black paint along with its red leather interior and white steering wheel gives this Pontoon a nice classic look. The interior has a beautiful rosewood dashboard, which includes an oil pressure gauge and a water temperature gauge. Other things to be found in the interior are the original red velour carpets, which are still in nice condition. The windshield heater functions excellently. The same goes for the beautiful classic Becker radio installation which is still in nice condition. The excellent quality of the chrome parts completes this car. The original red leather upholstery has a nice and luxurious appearance. The left front seat comes with adjustable lumbar support which can be adjusted with the lumbar support pump. This is another one of the many luxurious aspects of the interior.

In terms of documentation of this car, there is a considerable amount present. The following named items are present, among others:
