Just two owners from new
Dealer's personal car
Remarkable patina
No reserve

What makes this Mercedes 300 SEL exceptional is that is has had just two owners from new. An original French car, it was first sold on 20 October 1970, by the Mercedes dealer at the time, the Vincent Garage, near Dijon. On 20 August 1997, the first owner sold the car to the current owner who is himself a Mercedes dealer in the Côte d'Or region. This luxurious saloon has been preserved fastidiously throughout its life and carefully maintained. In 2000, the car was re-sprayed in its original colour. In December 2008, when the odometer displayed 82 724 km, it benefitted from a complete mechanical overhaul, using original Mercedes spare parts. This included replacing the pneumatic suspension cushions, the fuel tank, fuel pump, ignition components, the alternator, brake pistons and the cam chain. Since then, the car has hardly been driven and has covered just over 83 000 km today. The car will be serviced before the sale.
This Mercedes, with a powerful 3.5-litre V8 engine, has an overall patina that is very appealing. The bodywork looks lovely and inside, the original fabric upholstery and the wood trim are very well preserved. A great opportunity for the buyer to combine comfort, luxury and high performance.
