The first Maserati Quattroporte has been showed in 1963 during the "Salone dell'Auto di Torino", making a matchpoint in car industry in the following years. The Quattroporte was a huge car, with luxury finishes and comfort but also great performance thanks to the V8 Engine of 4.1L, that was capable of 260Hp and 240 Km/h. The "fastest sedan in the world" had innovative features, compared to the rivals of the time: 5 gear tramission, 4 disk-brakes and electric powered windows. Unfortunately, due to the production cost and time, Maserati made only 776 of them. The Quattroporte I° Series is considered an extremely luxurious car for the most demandeing collectors.!
