A proforma invoice dated 23 February 1979 by Maserati Italy for the attention of the company François Staumont (the importer of Maseratis for Belgium) summarizes the characteristics of the Maserati Khamsin that we are offering. Its color was metallic "Celeste Chiaro" with "Blu" leather upholstery, still its current color combination. It was equipped with air-conditioning and an electric antenna. Sold to its first owner in April 1979 in Belgium, it was bought by its current owner in April 1983, who was told by François Staumont that it was firsthand before that. The odometer showed slightly less than 50,000 km and the car was maintained at Auto M in Modena. The owner registered it in Belgium first before registering it in France in 1993. Enthusiast of sports cars and safaris, she had a tamed panther in her house in South of France: the Khamsin was the only car that the beast has not attacked! At that time, the mileage was showing 64,900 km, as can be seen from a technical inspection report. In 2014, the car was re-registered in Belgium with a historic registration number. Today, the odometer displays slightly over 68,000 km and it lacks none of the attractiveness of the original model. The bodywork is in an impeccable state and the doors are all well aligned, the luxurious and original interiors are in a remarkably preserved condition, and the original tools have never been used. Sold with its user manual, this superb Khamsin is among the best preserved examples in the market today.
