This Maserati Indy a comfortable and fast 4-seater GT, was built in only 440 examples. The car we have on offer was delivered to Loano, Italy, on the 21st September 1970 to its first owner and registered for the first time on the 25th September 1970. The libretto copy available indicates that the Indy was in the same ownership until 1988. In 1996 the car was exported to England where it had several owners and benefited from an engine overhaul in 2014/15 at 64'000 kilometres. In 2017 the car was sold into Switzerland by an Austrian dealer. Preparation for the Swiss MOT inspection in 2018 included a partial restoration of the coachwork as well as an overhaul of the steering system. A large file with numerous documents and invoices since 1995 is available. In February 2020, the beautiful coupé was taken over by the vendor but driven very sparingly. The Maserati in “Rosso rubino metallizzato” with its light tan leather interior is in good to very good condition and has most likely covered a mere 67'000 kilometres. The last Swiss Veteran MOT was conducted in September 2018.
