This car was bought new in 2001 in Tuscany by a resident of Menton in the Alpes-Maritimes region. Three other owners followed, but no engine or bodywork incidents were ever reported. Equipped with a manual six-speed transmission, it now boasts just 54,000km and its maintenance record, which of course is searchable and that will come with the car, is up to date. The car is known at tablissements Pozzi and Neubauer, and about three years ago the timing belt and clutch were replaced. Since then, it has covered only 5000 km.
Painted in blue "Nettuno" with beige leather upholstery, it is the first series of the 3200 GT, still with the stylish "boomerang" tail lamps of the early cars. The car is neat and is in a very nice condition.
This model, which represents the transition period between De Tomaso and the takeover by Ferrari, is emblematic of the rebirth of Maserati. With its elegant lines signed by Giugiaro and its V8 biturbo engine of 370bhp, the 3200 GT is a thoroughbred as fast as desirable, especially in a condition as good as this.
