The car was converted into a convertible immediately after its delivery in America. And in my opinion, this is very good! The German TÜV also approved the conversion and granted the TÜV for the car.

The vehicle was almost entirely rebuilt, repainted, given new pistons and piston rings, hole top was overhauled, given new main bearings, connecting rod bearings, new seals above and below as well as an engine block, cylinder and shaft were re-ground, new coil, distributor and condenser, new main screws, new aluminium cooler, cooling system overhauled.
So a lot has already been done to the car, so you can almost say that almost everything is new.

Marcos is an English sports car that was developed by an aircraft engineer, which is why it is so sporty. The vehicle has a lightweight trellis frame, so there is no risk anymore that the wood is rotten anywhere.
The 3-litre Volvo engine was rebuilt, which is very durable and stable. This is actually the engine that Marcos’s drivers wanted. The road handling is very good and it is very zippy due to its light weight.
