Mechanically the car is in good condition. It starts fine, the oil pressure is good and the gearbox shifts smoothly.
Rust is a notorious problem with vintage Range Rovers - they rust from the inside because moisture gets in from everywhere - but in this case, the foundation is good and the cosmetic imperfections are perfectly manageable and repairable.
The gearbox isn’t silent, but a car from 1975 rarely is.
