- "Autobiography" series limited to 100 units
- One of the last Defender in its most desirable version
- Near new condition with less than 3,300km and recent service
- No reserve
In 2015 to celebrate the last year of production of the legendary Defender, after 68 years of the same design, Land Rover launched three special series: Heritage, Adventure and Autobiography. Among these three limited series, the "Autobography" series, released only for the short chassis version, is the most exclusive. On the one hand, it is the rarest with only 100 units made, although initially only 80 were planned. On the other hand, it is the most luxurious with its specific presentation, which in the cabin features luxurious Windsor full-grain leather, and its 2.2L diesel engine reworked to 150 hp instead of 122. The Defender Autobiography on offer was ordered by a major French dealer and acquired new in 2015 by its current owner. It has covered less than 3,300 km and is in almost new condition. Regularly serviced, it has just been overhauled in December 2019. Its black color with matching aluminum rims is unusual for an Autobiography version, most of which were in two-tone. The interior is both sober and elegant with leather covering the dashboard, the doors and the roof, and with black and grey upholstery with "Autobiography" embroidery on the headrests. It will be delivered with its special edition certificate, its manuals in their leather case, as well as its duplicate key and remote control.
