In our museum is now a very well conserved Lancia Flavia Coupe 1.8 from 1965. The Lancia Flavia coupe is designed by Pininfarina. Flavia was named after Via Flavia, a Roman road leading from Trieste (Tergeste) to Dalmatia. The early cars had a 1500 cc engine, these engines need a lot of service. With the introduction of the 1800 cc engines, like our Flavia has, this problem was solved. The engines are very strong. This Lancia Flavia Coupe was imported in the Netherlands in 1989. In 1990 the car was sold to a new owner and he kept the car till now! He did maintain the car the last 27 years regardless of costs. You can read this back in the file what comes with the car. All the invoices since 1990 are there. After arrival in the Netherlands the car got a total respray and this respray was done very well, it is still there and the car is still free of corrosion. It must have been a very solid body when they did this respray. Nice to know is that the current owner already in 1990 saw that this car would become a real classic car! The car has led a sheltered life, problably whole his life, but most certainly the last 27 years.

In the file you can read that the current owner had not only revised the engine but also the starter motor, the shock absorbers, the master brake cylinder, the carburetor and so on. The car is technical superb and drives very well, the interior is lovely.

The Lancia Flavia Coupe is a very well designed car and if you are looking for one you have to see this one, it will be yours!
