In 1989 Lancia dediced to show a new version of the Delta Integrale, with the updrage of the four valves per cylinder (so the sign 16V), a very interesting upgrade especially for the competition. Aesthetically the main difference concerns the bulge that affects the front part of the engine bonnet, in order to improve the cooling system and which has become a distinctive characteristic of the 16 Valves engines. But the main differences are under the skin, where a careful study of Lancia technicians has led to the creation of a more linear engine with a considerable increase of power, thanks also to the upgrade of new components. A further change was the improvement of weight distribution and the balance between front and rear axle, which is fundamental for the car's dynamics. The HF 16V was unstoppable and won the World Championship in 1989, 1990 and 1991. This magnificent Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V was born in racing configuration, with a specific tuning for the Gr. N category: since then, it has raced less than 9,000 Km. The car is equipped with the "ACI CSAI" technical passport with the entire list of Rallies joined. In 2018, numerous maintenance operations were carried out, all listed in the detailed work-sheet. In recent years this Delta has been used for some historical events. The most important results include 2nd place at the “Rally della Lana Biella” in 2010, and 2nd palce at "Cesena Sestriere Experience" in the same year, in the “Turismo Competizione” category.
