This beautiful B20S, a 6th series model, has a singular history. Purchased in 1997 as a wreck by the restorer Albert Cailler, it was intended to serve as a source for parts before an enthusiast asked him to proceed with its restoration.
Given the condition, the comprehensive restoration took more than six years. On this occasion, it was equipped with a floor shift. The cost of restoration went up to more than 74,000 Swiss francs, with completion by 2013. This "renaissance" of the car was the subject of an article in the famous French magazine "La Vie de l'Auto". Always in the same ownership, the car has covered little distance since restoration, and is in a very beautiful state today, with its black shade showing off the Boano design beautifully. On board, the passengers can enjoy a beautiful upholstery, covered with faux leather in biscuit and beige cloth, all of which has been completely re-done too. The driver seat was modified into a larger one. Its 6-cylinder is equipped with a Solex DC40 carburetor, giving the car satisfying performance, reminding us as to how the B20S was a high-performance car for its time. The accompanying folder includes two appraisals, as well as the restoration and maintenance invoices since 2013. It comes with its tool kit, its double set of keys, and the jack. Our example has serious arguments to seduce the demanding amateur who wants a fast and sporty car, fast, eligible for many historical events.
