Italian registration - In very nice condition, same owner since 1985 - A modern car for its time This car was delivered new in the small town of Perugia and it seems to have always remained in the region. The first owner was the photographer Gino Cavallieri who had the car till the 1970s, when he decided to sell the car. In the 1970s, the new owner entrusted the Lancia garage of our collector for a complete restoration. At that time, Gino Cavallieri claimed the ownership of the car that indeed did not belong to him anymore, as evidenced by an amusing correspondence between him and the garage! Our collector, who supervised the restoration of this Lancia Augusta, did not hesitate to buy it when the second owner decided to sell it in 1985. Although requiring a revision, it is now in good general condition, both the inside upholstery, along with a faultless outside, where the dark red and black two-tone paint has endured the passage of time well. Accompanied by the "Oro" certification of Asi, it is distinguished by its modern monocoque body and independent front suspension. To facilitate ingress, doors open vis- à-vis, which was usually the preserve of luxury cars.
