Der Lamborghini Islero wurde 1968 als Nachfolger des Lamborghini 400 GT auf der Internationalen Automobilausstellung in Genf präsentiert und bis 1970 hergestellt. Dieses 2+2 Coupé bestätigte die Kompetenz der Automobili Lamborghini für GT-Wagen mit kraftvoller Motorleistung in Verbindung mit sportlicher Fahrwerksabstimmung. In der Zeit von 1968 bis 1970 sind 225 Fahrzeuge entstanden, davon 125 Stück in der Serie 1. Dieser seltene Lamborghini Islero wurde gemäß vorliegender Fotodokumentation bis zur blanken Rohkarosserie zerlegt und danach mit größtem Aufwand restauriert.

The Lamborghini Islero was presented in 1968 at the International Motor Show in Geneva as the successor of the Lamborghini 400 GT and manufactured until 1970. According to the existing photo documentation this very rare Lamborghini Islero 400 GT was stripped down to the bare body shell and then restored with great effort.
