Description

Here at the Car Barn we are pleased to offer this very rare 1934 Lagonda RapierIn 1934 you ordered your Lagona Rapier chassis and sent it to your preferred coach builder to do this rest. This has the Abbot DHC Body which was fully restored by Geoff Henderson in 1993/4, before a full engine rebuild in 1995. It has a huge history file with all invoices going back some 30 years. There is very detailed log of every little job, rally and run done with this car from 1992 onwards. A previous owner had the car maintained by MacDonalds including back axle overhaul and coil ignition conversion. The interior is mainly original and could do with some light restoration on the front seats and door cards, the exterior could also benefit in some light restoration. We are aware many owners would like to do this themselves, however if you wish we can provide a quote for our skilled workforce to do any enhancement or restoration work required.  Rear tyres have been recently fitted and the car drives beautifully. This is a very usable classic car, with a highly advanced for the time, 1100cc engine producing 50bhp so more than able to keep up with modern traffic. For more information and to arrange a viewing please contact Jonathon Webb on +44(0)7442 897760
