160bhp, 3,442 cc twin overhead-cam inline six-cylinder engine, four-speed manual transmission, torsion bar independent front suspension, rigid rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 102" (2,590mm)

During the Second World War, William Lyons and his colleagues conceived what would become the world’s first high-volume twin cam engine. After the war, a short wheelbase chassis and a two
