This car is the successor of the XJS. The special thing about the design is that most convertibles are designed based on the coupé. But it’s the other way around with the Jaguar XK: the coupé was derived from the convertible. The first generation was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on 5 March 1996. The car was available as a coupé and as a convertible with either a supercharger or a naturally aspirated engine. The supercharger version is known as the Jaguar XKR. The second generation was unveiled at the IAA in Frankfurt in September 2005. The car was designed by Ian Callum, who also designed the Aston Martin DB7 and the Vanquish. The XK received a facelift in 2009 with minor alterations to front and rear lights and bumper designs. The engine was enlarged from a 4.2L V8 to a 5.0L V8.

This car was originally delivered in the Netherlands in the summer of 2006, on 28-04-2006 to be exact. A beautiful car because of its colour combination and finish. Perhaps one of the most beautiful, the silver exterior gives the car a touch of excitement, unlike other cars. It's one of those cars that's absolutely right.

Both the interior as well as the exterior are stunning. But also its history, the XK comes from the second owner who had the car for 14 years. So almost from the outset. Incidentally, the second owner was an acquaintance of the first owner. The history is, of course, completely sound. The car was only maintained by specialists and the history is complete. Just the way it should be with an XK.

The car can be viewed and picked up in de Sassenheim, the Netherlands.
