History:
Presented at the 1954 Motor Show, the XK140 represents the evolution of the XK120, with the introduction of several mechanical innovations including rack and pinion steering and telescopic shock absorbers.
During its short production period (3 years), just over 8,800 Jaguar XK140 units were produced.

The interior is the most refined and exclusive that can be admired in a car of this level.
The massive use of burr wood on the dashboard and on the doors appears almost excessive, in its former glory. The unique design of the Smiths instruments seems to drown embedded in the rich thickness of the precious wood of the dashboard.

The two small ashtrays placed in the burr wood at the top of the dashboard are very refined: one for the driver and one for the passenger. Between the two ashtrays there is a tiny and elegant rectangular rear-view mirror.
The rear seats, of fine craftsmanship, complete the magnificence of this sophisticated living room on four wheels.

The engine has been preserved in excellent condition, with the type C cylinder head capable of developing a power of 210 HP. Close ratio 4-speed gearbox for sporty performance. Over the years, its owner has made frequent overhauls and adjustments, preserving the condition and efficiency of the car with care.
