Description

This beautiful Jaguar E-Type coupé was originally delivered to the US. According to the consignor, the car was owned by a billionaire from 1969 through 1990, who held it as his seventh car. The Jaguar has been in Germany since 1991 where it has gone through three ownerships. With its rare colour combination of brown paintwork, bright leather seats, black dashboard and brown door linings and centre console, it gives a classy impression. The paintwork is in decent shape with some traces of rust. The Jaguar's underbody has pronounced, visible onset of rust.
Under the characteristic bonnet, the smooth-running 4.2 litre straight-six-cylinder engine is installed, delivering 154 kW (209 hp) of power which is sent through the rear wheels by means of an automatic transmission. The interior displays a bit of patina on the leather seats and door sills. Since 1993, over 26,000 € have been spent on maintenance.
A recent Classic Data appraisal of 62,000 € (condition. 2) is available. The Jaguar has a valid technical approval until 05/2016.
