Description

BYC 859B is a late example of the legendary 3.8 Litre Jaguar E-Type Coupe. An original Home Market, matching numbers example this E-Type was dispatched to Rossleigh, Edinburgh in July 1964.

A major restoration was carried out on the car in 1990, which is extensively detailed in a bound catalogue accompanying the car. Finished in dark blue with contrasting grey leather, further work and upgrades were completed between 2009-2011. All this later work is photographically recorded.

Upgrades include Coopercraft front brakes, stainless steel exhaust, dynamo, high-torque starter and competition, outside laced wire wheels. It has just been serviced, and drives very well indeed. A well presented example suitable for touring to Continent this summer.
