Delivered out of New York, USA in 1962, this rare 3.8 Series 1 Roadster presents in outstanding condition and is one of the most desirable E-type specifications built. In black over a red leather interior, this example was subject to a detailed, bare-metal restoration which included several upgrades to increase drivability, whilst maintaining the original aesthetic that cemented these cars as the most iconic classic car of all time.

Producing 265 bhp from its 3.8L inline-6, these vehicles were also highly regarded for their top-tier performance. The entire drive-line was rebuilt during the restoration process, resulting is a smooth-shifting 4-speed manual gearbox and a flawless driving experience.

Accompanying this E-type is a history file containing comprehensive restoration receipts, a Jaguar heritage certificate, operating handbook and ownership history.

Considered by many as one of the most beautiful vehicles ever built, the E-type Jaguar was undoubtedly a milestone for the company. It's initial success in the early 1960's has transcended time, making it one of the most desirable classic cars ever built.
