Description

French collection title

The technical and historical curiosity of these steam cars prompted Mr. C, his former owner to acquire this type of automobile. After several years of research, he finally found his happiness in 1998 in a museum in Holland. It traces its history: this car Gardner Serpollet type F entered the collection of Mr. Olivier Herbosch in Belgium (Blankenbergen, near Antwerp) in 1959. In 1973, Herr Herbosch sells most of his collection to Mr Lips, the founder of the Autotron Museum in Drunen, then to Rosmalen in Holland. After a restoration and restarting his owner participated in several outings of ancestors of his region (see photographs). A complete file will be given to the buyer.
This car of master is characterized by its mark, its scarcity, its quality of manufacture and especially by its exceptional state of conservation. Fans and connoisseurs will not be deceived.
