Following tradition, after the three-year production cycle of the “Bullet Bird”, 1964 saw the introduction of yet another Thunderbird and yes, yet another nickname – “Flair Bird”. While the new Thunderbird retained the same basic structure and dimensions of the previous models, the exterior styling was completely revised with a lengthened hood combined with a shortened, formal roofline.
