Trade-in car. We have a very neat 1965 Ford Mustang convertible on offer. Since 1981 it has been owned by one Jeannette Chilson inhabitant of sun-drenched California in the USA. The car has a 289 cu (4.7 litre) V8 engine coupled to a 3-speed automatic box. The engine runs really well and the automatic works as it should do. This Mustang is finished in white with a white hood and black interior trim. The bodywork is in good condition, rust-free and with correct shut lines. It is quite obvious that the bodywork has benefitted from living out in warm Californian climate. Mustangs of this vintage from the north do not tend to hold up as well. The neat paintwork has some blemishes. The hood is neat and closes properly. As expected, underneath the car is all rock solid. The interior trim has recently been replaced with black carpets and period correct black vinyl upholstery embossed. with the iconic Pony. The boot space has not been carpeted, which allows inspection to confirm there is absolutely no hidden rust. The brightwork is in very good condition. The Mustang further has a lovely wooden 3-spoke steering wheel and electrical hood operation. In summary this is a lovely 1965 Ford Mustang convertible with many more miles of life in it and easily lifted to a higher plane with a few simple finishing touches. THIS VEHICLE IS IN OUR STORAGE, VIEWING BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
