Description

Built for the 1967 Group 5 BSCC for works drivers Paul Hawkins and Jacky Ickx, ‘CTC 24E’ achieved two class wins in its first season at Silverstone and Brands Hatch. Purchased by Alan Mann Racing for the ’68 season, it was re-engineered by Len Bailey for Frank Gardner to tackle the ETCC and BSCC. Heavily developed, powered by a Cosworth FVA, and running all the Escort development mods, ‘CTC 24E’ would go onto take an overall win at Aspern, Austria and a class win at Thruxton. Today it is truly race-ready and powered by a 245bhp Geoff Richardson FVA. A very rare opportunity to own an ex-works saloon capable of running at the front in Peter Auto’s HTC and Motor Racing Legends’ HTCC.
