- The most complete version of the Nuova 500
- A comprehensive restoration
- One of the nicest Fiat 500 available in the market
How can one not to fall under the spell of the Fiat 500? Clever marketing gave the car a revival in 2007, so that it resurrected in a neo retro form, very fashionable today. The design is largely inspired from the famous "yoghurt pot" of the previous model. It is the third generation since the first bearing this nomenclature, known as the "Topolino", appeared way back in 1936. In 1957, the "Nuova 500" - the model on offer - succeeded the Topollino and over four million would be produced till 1975.
This 500L from August 1972 remained in the same hands until 2007. It has seen an impressive restoration: with the body fully bared to treat it, repainted completely, mechanicals reconditioned from new parts, chrome redone, for a total cost of nearly € 20,000! Many photos were taken during the restoration and show the quality of work. We realize that the crankshaft is new, as is the exhaust, and the engine block seems straight out of manufacturing lines of Mirafiori. The car is coming with all invoices showing the details of the work. The icing on the cake is that the car is equipped with Borrani wheels of great elegance, really rare on this type of a car.
