The Fiat 2300 S Coupé. From a time when Fiat wasn't known for its hip women's cars with seriously blown lawnmower engines. No, a roaring six-cylinder, manual transmission, long nose and unassisted direct contact with the road. That sounds better, right?

The 2300 S Coupe is based on the 2100/2300 but was once again put through the Italian beauty ringer by Ghia. And the S? That stood for Abarth's temperament. It added 28 atmospheric horses and doubled the Webers under the hood. May not sound like much, but it really is enough caffeine for your espresso!

The production of details and the beautiful coupé line did take so much longer that Fiat contracted it out largely to Ghia, who in turn partly contracted it out to OSI. Both known as. *cough* not entirely productive. Final score? 3,500 pieces; another one for the 'endangered species' list.

Ours was delivered right where she was born in 1965 to her first owner in Milan, Italy. Since 2013, she has been aching thumbs and turning heads in the Netherlands. Justified after the first glance: the silver-grey exterior with the red interior, the elongated coupé lines and just the right amount of patina. She doesn't deserve anything else. Now looking for a new club member; A presto!

Das Fiat 2300 S Coupé. Aus einer Zeit, als Fiat noch nicht für seine hippen Frauenautos mit stark aufgeblasenen Rasenmäher Motoren bekannt war. Nein, ein röhrender Sechszylinder, Schaltgetriebe, lange Nase und direkter Kontakt mit der Straße. Das klingt doch besser, oder?

Das 2300 S Coupe basiert auf dem 2100/2300, aber er wurde von ghia erneut zum Schönheitskönig gekrönt. Und das S? Das stand für das Temperament von Abarth. Es fügte 28 atmosphärische Pferde hinzu und verdoppelte die Anzahl der Weber unter der Motorhaube. Das klingt vielleicht nicht nach viel, aber es ist wirklich genug Koffein in Ihrem Espresso!

Die Produktion von Details und der schönen Coupé-Linie dauerte so lange, dass Fiat sie größtenteils an Ghia vergab, die sie wiederum teilweise an OSI vergaben. Beide bekannt als. *hust* nicht ganz produktiv. Endstand? 3.500 Stück; ein weiteres Exemplar für die Liste der "gefährdeten Arten".

Unsere wurde ebenfalls 1965 an ihren ersten Besitzer in Mailand, Italien, ausgeliefert, wo sie auch geboren wurde. Seit 2013 dreht sie in den Niederlanden Däumchen und verdreht die Köpfe. Man denke nur an das silbergraue Äußere mit dem roten Interieur, die langgezogenen Coupé-Linien und die richtige Portion Patina. Etwas anderes hat sie nicht verdient. Jetzt auf der Suche nach einem neuen Clubmitglied; A presto!
