Furlonger have recently reacquired this cherished example of a Ferrari Testarossa, configured in Rosso Corsa over a Crema and Nero upholstered interior. Chassis no. 081289 was originally delivered via Sonauto S.A. to a Mr. Robbiani Pierette in May of 1989 and received its 1,500 km service in October 1989. The Testarossa has been used extremely sparingly, covering a mere 4,832 km by 2004. The car has now covered only 10,623 km, accumulating just 5,791 km in 18 years! During this period the Testarossa has spent much of its time in a meticulously monitored storage environment, with the last 5 years under the care of Furlonger. In 2020 the car was subject to a comprehensive service in our workshop that included an engine-out overhaul amounting to nearly £19,000. The works included were removal of cylinder heads, valves and springs, followed by new valve stem oil seals and the fitting of new head gaskets. Further, tappet adjustments were carried out along with replacement of cambelt, auxiliary drive belts, spark plugs and finally an engine and gearbox clean.

This beautifully preserved ‘time-warp’ example possesses an incredible level of originality that few Testarossas retain today. Showing just 10,623 km (6,600 miles), this car presents a timely opportunity to purchase one of Ferrari’s most accomplished, distinctive and renowned models in close to new condition.
