Description

This classic car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button. .Unveiled with great pomp and ceremony in 1984 on the exclusive stage of the “Lido” in Paris, the Ferrari Testarossa is undoubtedly one of the models that has contributed most to making the Prancing Horse brand immortal. The extreme line, Hypercar-like we would say today, designed by Pininfarina, anticipates the amazing performance of the V-shaped 12-cylinder engine made in Maranello: 390 horsepower delivered to the rear wheels for a top speed of 300 km/h! Still today, more than 30 years after its creation, such data are of absolute importance.

The Testarossa offered at auction is perhaps unique for its characteristics and originality. A two-mirror “Monodado” model, the car has always belonged to a noble marquis of Parma, a well-known collector.

Since it was purchased, it has travelled just over 20,000 km and has always been carefully and meticulously preserved. It has never been repainted, it was purchased by the seller in 2019 and soon underwent a thorough service at the prestigious Toni workshop in Maranello, which has always been a guaranteed quality service for Ferrari customers.

Today, the vehicle is in wonderful condition, ready for use. The paint is still beautiful and bright, as well as rims and plastic components. Interior also in excellent condition. The car comes with Italian documents for transfer of ownership (Milan number plate), copy of the service book, double keys, tool kit and car cover.

The original service book, with the history of the official services made, is still in possession of the former owner and is located in his summer residence in St. Tropez; unfortunately we are unable to determine when and if it will be provided with the car.

An exclusive collector’s item that can be purchased today thanks to our consolidated collaboration with Catawiki.
You are welcome to view, inspect and/or test the car, even together with specialised mechanics, by appointment.
