We have a delightful 1988 Ferrari Mondial 3.2 Convertible. It was initially supplied by the Singen Ferrari dealership in Germany. This car is in a wonderful condition and has been perfectly maintained over the years.

The completely original bodywork has lovely thin and correctly aligned panelwork. The Ferrari Red finish is also in very good condition with only minimal blemishes befitting the car’s age and mileage. The electric hood is in very good shape and forms a tight shut when up. The tonneau cover for use when the hood is down of course also forms part of the itinerary.

The fully original interior trim consists of black leather and carpets which have both been kept wonderfully well. The black leather is in very good condition as is the dashboard with all gauges and controls working as they should.

The moment you drive off you readily appreciate the superb maintenance carried out. The perfectly running engine does not disappoint. The 3.2-litre V8 engine develops 270 Ps transferred through the 5-speed dog-leg gearbox. The transmission is precise and smooth even with a cold engine. Delivery like this only goes to underline the care lavished on this car. This Ferrari, therefore, comes complete with an extensive maintenance history. In April 2021 at 67,786 km the timing belt was replaced. In addition, the original car wallet is present with the owner’s manual and service booklet.

The Ferrari Mondial has made something of a renaissance over the last couple of years. People have started to appreciate the model more than previously and have come to the realisation that a real Ferrari is more achievable than they sometimes thought. In this case, it also sports a unique layout. The Mondial convertible version just happens to be the only series production 4-seater convertible with a mid-engined V8 in the world.
