Description

This Ferrari F50 (no. 103/349) was delivered new via Rossocorsa S.R.L., Italy in February 1996, optioned with a Rosso Corsa exterior over Nero leather seats with Rosso cloth inserts – the same specification it wears today. First registered to Zaoo SWC in Limbiate, the F50’s primary custodian covered 4,880Km by December 1996, just 10 months after collection. During its time in Italy, the car was maintained by Rossocorsa, GTO Motors and Autoficcina Bonini.

This F50, chassis no. 104768 remained in Italy with single ownership before being imported to the U.K. and sold to its second custodian in 2013. The Ferrari F50 had accumulated just 33,000Km on arrival, and has since covered a mere 4,550km, driven solely by its only U.K. based owner.

Furlonger workshops have recently carried out a comprehensive, no-expense-spared major service on this Ferrari F50. After splitting the F50 and displaying it at Salon Prive 2022, we returned the car to our workshops to carry out a major service, fit a new clutch, replace oil seals, cam cover gaskets and detail the engine bay. After reassembling the car, we conducted a road test and concluded its sales preparation with an interior and exterior detail. The F50 drives exceptionally well, with a slick gearchange, no reportable knocks or rattles and all controls functioning correctly.

Chassis no. 104768 is a highly original example that retains an exceptional amount of weave throughout the entire bodywork. The F50’s engine bay further compliments the car’s overall condition, with little signs of heat cycles and still possessing all the correct Ferrari factory stickers and markings. Further, the car retains its original exhaust, and is accompanied by its original service book, handbooks, manuals, both tool kits, wheel spanner, factory soft top and hard top and flight case.

This Ferrari F50 has been cherished throughout its lifetime, having remained in long term ownership by just two keepers from new. The car is a fully matching numbers example, including the ‘secret’ clam numbers.

This Ferrari F50 poses an exciting opportunity to purchase a highly collectible, manual, open-top, low production number supercar. The car possesses an excellent balance of condition and originality, which is quickly becoming a difficult combination to find in F50s. Offered in its original factory specification and recently prepared in Furlonger workshops, this F50 will make a fine addition to any collection.
