The Ferrari F430 Challenge

Introduced for the 2006 season, the F430 Challenge initially appeared alongside the older 360 model in Ferrari Challenge races, prior to becoming the sole variant eligible from 2007 until 2011. Retaining the potent 483-hp V-8 engine of the standard car, as well as its innovative paddle-shift operated six-speed gearbox, weight saving of almost 300 kg ensured prodigious performance and spectacular racing.

The F430 Challenge we are offering here is chassis ZFFEX63X000160095 and was supplied new to the French market in 2008. Its first recorded owner was Mr Louis Chatenet from the Bordeaux area where the car will be sparingly enjoyed for track days only. 6 years later the car passed on to renowned French Ferrari collector in the south of France who will make the same use of the car, mostly at the Castellet Formula 1 circuit. A couple of years ago ZFFEX63X000160095 was acquired by its third and current owner who barely drove the car and had it properly serviced by Ferrari specialists.
