Description

In keeping with Ferrari’s model revision schedule, the 812 Superfast (internally F152M) provides the heavily revised successor to the F12; a car which at it’s launch was the fastest Ferrari ever. The 812SF brings a number of hefty updates and new componentry to the game, far more than just a power hike! The 812SF welcomes a number of transmission changes, aerodynamic and suspension and steering revisions along with an entirely new body, the first car designed entirely in-house at Ferrari.

In true Ferrari fashion, the 812 Superfast raises the stakes above even that of the limited run-out F12 TDF. A larger capacity V12 means power is now up a further 20bhp from the TDF, and whilst the torque gain of 10lb ft may seem nominal, a monstrous 80% of this is available from just 3,500rpm.

The 812 further inherited a number of technological advances first seen in the TDF. The chassis technology including the ‘virtual short wheelbase’ four-wheel steering system including direct inheritance of the TDF steering rack enables the large GT car to defy its dimensions entirely, resulting in a much smaller and more nimble driving experience.

Inside the car receives a lightly refreshed steering wheel setup. With all the controls for most-regularly used options on the steering wheel, the buttons have been enlarged making for easier, more intuitive use whilst driving.

This 812 Superfast is presented in the fantastic historical Ferrari colour of Grigio Ferro, a colour most notably an option in the late 1960s, combined with an interior the elegant and classical Beige Tradizione. A stunning combination that would be right at home on a 275 GTB/4 and fantastically suited to the latest GT car that Ferrari produces.

Offered from a prominent collection of Front Engined V12 Ferraris, this example was initially supplied new by Maranello in July 2019 before moving to its second and current keeper in February 2020. Despite two owners, the car has covered just 70 miles from new and as such presents superbly. A wealth of options ensure this 812 provides the best seat in the house. The interior sees the Carbon Fibre Driver Zone with LEDs, Carbon Fibre Dashboard inserts and Carbon Fibre Central Bridge along with Beige Tradizione full electric ‘Daytona’ style seats with Nero inserts. The interior sees embroidered Cavallinos in the headrests also in Nero and the dramatic central rev counter in Giallo.

The outside of the car sees a more modern take on a GT car, with the upgraded forged Diamond-cut wheels finished in discreet Grigio Corsa Opaco, behind them the brake calipers are finished in Nero. Additionally the car benefits from the must-have Scuderia Wing Shields, Front & Rear Parking Cameras and the Titanium Exhaust.
