As its registration book states, this Ferrari 308 GTB was sold new with its FRP body on October 28, 1976 in Florence, through the Ferrari dealer for Tuscany, Campagnano Automobili spa. The buyer of the car was a company based in Arezzo and from 1976 to 1989 (at 27,657 km), it was the same garage that serviced the car throughout. In 1994 it was registered in Ticino by the previous owner and a maintenance service was done in 2002 (at 35,000 km), with Sportcar at La Stampa, and again in the same workshop in 2011 (at 41,150 km). Currently, the meter displays 43,908 km, which means that for several years the car has hardly run. In the original leather pouch can be found the service booklet from 1976 and the exceptionally complete warranty booklet and maintenance record of the car. Red in colour with the lower section in black, properly preserved, the car has original black leather upholstery, original Campagnolo wheels painted black. The car has recently benefited from an engine service, which is equipped with a small red intake pipes, usually installed to improve the flexibility of the engine. One may speculate that the painting of the underbody and the mounting of the intake pipes were made by Ferrari in the late 1970s. Moreover, it comes with a customs clearance certificate, a FFVE certificate and its original jack and toolkit. In addition to its charm and sportiness, this car is rare as production of the first lot of 308 GTB in FRP was limited to just 712 units.
