Description

The Citroen DS was a revolutionary and commercially successful motorcar. Introduced as a successor of the Traction Avant, the DS was a car that concentrated all of the savoir faire of the French automotive school. Styled by the sculptor Flaminio Bertoni and developed with hydraulic suspension, brakes and gearbox, conjugated sublime comfort with advanced aerodynamics, allowing its occupants comfortable and very fast travels. The flat undercarriage, the low Cx, the superp insonorization and the semi-automatic Citromatic gearbox made the DS the ideal choice for all those travellers looking for the most iconic and concete French elegance. This DS20 Pallas has been produced in 1974, the last year of production of this legendary Citroen. Originally painted in Lagoon Blue, it was changed over the years in the most classic Palladium Grey colour. Bought in the last years by the current owner as a "fun-car" it had recently its running gear completely restored by a specialist in Genova and it's hereby offered in great conditions. Ideal for all those looking for a classic to drive frequently also during the days of the week or for a perfect base for a light cosmetic restoration, this DS remains a great choice for all the lovers of this extraordinary French motorcar.
