- Coming from one of the most selective collection in Europe
- Rare, desirable, and authentic
- Single owner from 1968 to 2012
- Offered with its original 1968 Italian Libretto
First registered on August 2, 1968, this car was sold new to a motorist in Milan, Italy. It was originally Forest Green. What is surprising is that it only changed hands for the first time in 2012! The odometer shows 83,163 km, probably its original mileage. It was still with its first owner in Italy when it was unearthed by a well-known Citroen restorer for the current owner, a very selective Citroen collector.
The car has been repainted in a pearly grey, which goes with elegance of its bodywork and underlines its flowing lines. The dark brown leather upholstery remains original and its beautiful patina invites you to take a seat in the deep and comfortable armchairs. Comfort is the strong point of this car, thanks to its air cushion like suspension, better than most other prestigious brands.
In addition, the DS 21 version responded to the lack of power, which the DS suffered for a long time, with its 115bhp 2.1-liter engine giving it performance to match the status. With the semi-automatic hydraulic gearbox which can be controlled with one finger without leaving the steering wheel, driving the DS becomes a relaxing pleasure whose four seats can accommodate family or friends. A rare pleasure: only 74 cars were produced in 1968. An opportunity such as the one we offer here comes around very rarely.
