French title Engine n° DX 0315010234 - One owner since 1976 - Original example - Very rare and sought-after model This DS 21 factory cabriolet was registered in 1966, two days before Christmas. Ten years later, it was bought by a collector of beautiful automobiles who has kept it ever since, making that almost 40 years in the same hands ! Fitted with a hydraulic gearbox, the car was probably updated at the start of the 1970s : it has wings with recessed swivelling headlights that appeared eight months after it left the factory. The car still has its original 108 bhp DX engine, is equipped with five Robergel rims and a wonderful Jaeger dashboard with round dials. The engine was rebuilt with original parts during the 1980s by a Citroën dealer, and the car has only covered 10,000 km since that time. Repainted during the 1980s, the bodywork displays some signs of its age with a few spots of corrosion, and the beige leather interior, conforming to the original presentation, displays a charming patina. Having been driven very little in recent years, it will need a major service before travelling any great distance. In 1966, just 136 examples of this model were produced. A superior model with avant-garde styling, this automobile is particularly rare and comes with an exceptional history.
