Following its appearance in 1948, the 2CV benefitted from numerous ongoing improvements that gave this masterpiece an exceptionally long life: production ceased in the Levallois factory in February 1988, but continued for a further two years at Mangualde in Portugal. The official date for the end of production was 27 July 1990, after a run of 5 114 961 examples, making it the best-selling Citroën by far in the marque's history.
The 2CV presented here is a one-owner car, acquired new by André Trigano, which has covered just 11 206 km from new ! It is therefore presented in as-new condition, in white, with tartan fabric interior showing only the slightest signs of use.
It is rare to find an example with such clear history, which will not go unnoticed by enthusiasts of this " Art de vivre " (way of life).
Please note that some cars may have undergone body or
mechanical repair work between the production of the
catalogue and the viewing, so please feel free to contact us
