We have here a beautiful Chevrolet Corvette C2 from the first year of the C2 generation. The connoisseur immediately recognizes from the features on the bonnet that it is a car from 1963. It was the first year that the C2 model was delivered. The car had a number of exterior features that would be lost in later years.

The body of the car is in good condition with only some very light signs of wear. The car has been repainted in its original colour and still looks very nice, the paintwork is in good condition with very minimal signs of wear. The car stands on nice 17 inch American Racing wheels with good tires in the right sizes. The wheels are not original, but necessary because the car has disc brakes all around. The hood is white and is easy to use and fits perfectly everywhere.

The interior is in very original and beautiful condition. The seats are red vinyl and the carpets are also red, the carpets are in good used condition. The dashboard is covered with red plastic and also looks neat. The instruments in the car are very extensive and make it immediately clear that it is a real sports car. Finally, the shifter catches the eye because this car has the optional 4-speed manual gearbox. The original steering wheel is the icing on the cake in the interior.

The Corvette is powered by a 327-cubic-inch V8 engine mated to the aforementioned Borg-Warner 4-speed manual transmission. The engine runs well and, thanks to the large displacement, has more than enough torque in all circumstances. The gearbox can be operated precisely and has well-chosen translations. The Corvette C2 is such a typical car that you can drive in a sporty way or simply enjoy a relaxed tour on a dike road. The brakes are up to their task very well and never suffer from fading thanks to their size. Of course, the chassis has already been renewed and contributes to the good driving characteristics of the Corvette.
