Description

The arrival of the Sting Ray in 1963 was a shock in the United States.

Designed by Bill Mitchell, patron of Art & Color Studio, the new Corvette took over the style studies of Larry Shinoda.

Under the body, there was a new chassis, scale with independent rear suspension, improving both comfort and handling.

Criticized at the time of the release, the rear window in two parts knows only one vintage produced about 10,000 copies.

This feature makes it today the most sought after model of all 1963-1967 corvettes.

This Sting Ray remained in the United States and its last owner Michael POLISCHEK kept it from 1987 to 2015 on his property in FLORIDA.

Imputed in France, it was the subject of a complete restoration that ran from November 2016 to May 2017 with the renowned specialist, the company GT Label near Lille.

The body was completely dismantled, its original engine restored and replaced, the upholstery repaired and a new paint applied in its original GOLD color.

All the works represented a cost of € 63,000.
Without a doubt, it is one of the most beautiful Split Window almost untraceable in its color combination and in its perfect condition.
