The BMW Z1 designed in 1986 was introduced to the public a year later. In total exactly 8000 cars were produced, with 75% intended for the German home market. Our car was first registered in 1991 in Germany. In 2013 a French collector bought the car and sold it in 2018 to the last owner, a Belgium collector. The car has only clocked up a verifiable 80,633 km. The car is in very good condition and especially has been kept original. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at 70706 km as a preventative measure as well as out of sheer love of the car, considering it had already been done when the car had reached 55915 km. The last service was carried out 500 km ago. This Z1 has been excellently documented from the first day on. The stamped service booklet and owner’s manual are present and correct. The German, French and Belgium registration papers are all present as are various invoices and old ’TUV’ reports. In has a beautiful ‘UR-GRUEN-METALLIC’ finish with a grey interior trim.
