This rare BMW 635 CSI is really one of a kind: built in December 1980 and registered in March 1981, it was sold new in Pistoia (Italy)—our city—at the PICAR dealership to the owner, Mr Giovannetti of “Giovannetti Arredamenti”. It has always been with its sole owner, who was born in 1938! It still has the original number plates from the first registration and there’s a historical report.

The kilometres are original and confirmed by the previous owner with a written statement.

This BMW was auctioned on 12 April on Catawiki; the buyer did not complete the purchase and did not view the car; he was suspended from Catawiki and the car is being offered again at auction.

The paint is 100% original and the car fully features its first factory paint in the original “Schwartz” black colour.
The vehicle is still in excellent condition, having always been indoors in the company’s private garage.

The original beige leather interior is in excellent condition and beautiful in combination with the black exterior colour; there is also a functioning sunroof.

The chassis and underbody are very solid and without signs of repairs (see photos on the lift).
It still features its original factory finish and all BMW branded parts.

The mechanics have recently been serviced with a new set of spark plug cables, a new steering angle head and new rear joint caps; a complete overhaul of the injection system and sensors for more than €2500 and the car is ready to be used.

A feeler gauge test was carried out on the body and did not show any accidents, confirming that the car has its first factory paint. Original tool kit is present.

In May 2022, it passed a technical inspection, which is valid until May 2024. It is a direct purchase from the previous owner and normal maintenance may be needed in the future at the discretion of the buyer.
