- Fantastic restoration project
- Prestigious model, stored since 1976
- Only 413 examples made (273 coupes)
An amazing and exciting restoration project, this 503 Coupe has a unique and endearing history traced by its current owner. This very luxurious BMW was produced on October 24, 1958, finished in Riviera Sand / Tundra color. After spending almost a year in a Berlin dealership, it was transferred to Belgium and sold new by Brussels BMW dealer SR Garage on September 22, 1959. This is one of the latest series 1, equipped with electric windows and a shifter on the floor. The second owner, a Belgian doctor of Beveren, had a front collision while on board in 1976. Consequentially unusable after the accident, it was traded in for a new Jaguar via De Ridder in Hassdonck, a former BMW dealership who still maintained the 503. It has never since been driven and was stored within the dealership before its current owner, a knowledgeable collector, bought it in 2007. The car features a green livery with a white roof, the original beige leather upholstery and the door panels are still quite well preserved. The car is equipped with its tool kit, spare wheel and jack. In need of a full restoration, it is complete and the engine has not seized. With only 413 copies produced, it is therefore a rare model and will be a particularly interesting restoration project. The car will be delivered with an old Belgian title.
