Über Rolls-Royce New York Inc. wurde dieser Bentley S2 Continental Flying Spur der Serie A über den Bentley Händler Peter Satori am 24.10.1960 an Mr. Reginald Sinclair an die Adresse Plum Creek Ranch in Colorado, Denver ausgeliefert. Kurze Zeit später veräußerte Sinclair ihn an Kumpf Motors in Denver. Jahre später wurde das Fahrzeug nach Europa verkauft. Hervorragend restauriert und in einer sehr schönen Farbkombination, wurde er in den letzten Jahren erst in Lage und danach in Köln bewegt. TÜV Berichte der letzten Jahre zeugen von einer geringen, aber regelmäßigen Nutzung seit der Restauration. Zwei Gutachten aus 2007 und 2016 bestätigen eine Zustandsnote 2.
Dieser Bentley S2 ist das Pendant zum Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II. Beide Marken hatten über viele Jahre ähnliche Fahrzeuge im Programm, wobei Bentley immer die sportlicheren Versionen vertrat. Linksgelenkte Versionen sind sehr viel seltener und entsprechend gesuchter.

Via Rolls-Royce New York Inc. this Bentley S2 Continental Flying Spur Series A was first delivered to Mr. Reginald Sinclair at the Plum Creek Ranch address in Colorado, Denver on 24/10/1960 via Bentley dealer Peter Satori. Shortly thereafter, Sinclair sold it to Kumpf Motors in Denver. Years later, the car was sold to Europe. Superbly restored and in a very nice color combination, it has been driven in recent years first in Lage, Germany and then in Cologne, Germany. MOT reports from the last few years testify to low but regular use since the restoration. Two expert reports from 2007 and 2016 confirm a condition grade of 2.
This Bentley S2 is the counterpart to the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II. Both brands had similar cars in their lineup for many years, with Bentley always representing the sportier versions. Left-hand drive versions are much rarer and correspondingly more sought after.
