- Same owner since 1973!
- In absolutely original configuration
- In beautiful condition
- No reserve
The S version equipped with the 1275cc engine that appeared in 1964, was the culmination of the Mini Cooper range and featured many improvements, while its max power reached 75bhp!
Delivered new in May 1968, the car on offer has had only three owners and it has been in the same hands since 1973! It is in a strictly original configuration, up to its "snowberry white" body color, as can be seen from the heritage certificate. The owner confirms that the car has never raced. It has recently been fully restored, from the bodywork to mechanicals, brakes, lamps and tyres. Completed in 2016, the car has covered just over 200km since and is therefore still in the running-in stage. This superb Cooper S still has its two tanks, its counter showing up to 210 km/h, its 9FS type engine (block specific to the MK2) with its 312 type cylinder head as per origin, and is shod with original 3.5 Cooper S wheels. It also features the optional reclining bucket seats. With its continuous history and its restoration respecting the original configuration, it is a beautiful example, difficult to find today.
