Zum Ende des Produktionszeitraums dieser Vantage Generation legte Aston Martin die Sonderversion V600 auf. Neben mehr Leistung und einem Drehmoment von immer noch beeindruckenden 831 NM bestanden diese aus diversen Modifikationen wie einem sportlicheren Fahrwerk, Leichtbau Magnesium Felgen, größeren Bremsscheiben und Bremssätteln aus dem Rennsport. Auch eine verkürzte Fünf-Gang Handschaltung unterstreicht den sportlichen Charakter dieses Sondermodells. Kern dieses bei Einführung stärksten Aston Martin Straßenautos aller Zeiten waren Optimierungen am V8 Motor: erhöhter Ansaugdruck, ein verbessertes Kühlsystem für die Ladeluftansaugung sowie ein „Super Sport“ genannter Sportauspuff ermöglichten die namensgebende Leistung von 608 PS. Der damalige Einstiegspreis lag bei 233.000 GBP.
Das hier angebotene Exemplar wurde über Auto Becker Düsseldorf erstausgeliefert. Im Anschluss fand das V600 Upgrade durch Aston Works statt. 2002 erwarb es ein Aston Martin Sammler aus Luxemburg. At the end of the production period of this Vantage generation, Aston Martin launched the special version V600. In addition to more power and a torque of still impressive 831 NM, these consisted of various modifications such as a sportier chassis, lightweight magnesium rims, larger brake discs and brake calipers from racing. A shortened five-speed manual transmission underlines the sporty character of this special model. The core of this Aston Martin, which was the most powerful of all times when it was launched, was the optimization of the V8 engine: increased intake pressure, an improved cooling system for the charge air intake and a sports exhaust called "Super Sport" enabled the eponymous output of 608 hp. The starting price at the time was £ 233,000.
This vehicle was first delivered by Auto Becker Düsseldorf. The V600 upgrade was then carried out by Aston Works. In 2002 the car was bought by an Aston Martin collector from Luxembourg.
